It is funny that to qualify to be heard you have to show up with a van full of evidence and the Gvt gets away with 1 or 2 paid research papers and a couple of gvt employees to implement horrific policy on the country on their say so. Sounds like the scamdemic of 2020.

Or the Govt fund Prof D Fisman & a couple of UofT students to conduct a study about CoVid & Vaccine effacacy, massage the results then produce a paper with statistics and forecasts (models) that reflect the Liberal's desired outcome but are so fraudulent Dr. Wateel wrote a book about it (Fisman's Fraud).

I wonder how many other $tudie$ have been conducted and published for the sole purpose of mis-leading Canadians? I live in a small Ontario town with a big drug problem and our Liberal doctors were promoting the needle exchange program, wanting a supervised injection site while writing "safe supply" prescriptions. Our City Hall actually carried out a survey then withheld the results for six months because the tax-paying public demanded improved addiction treatment facilities and more policing of drug dealers and drug related crimes.

Pierre has talked about this many times at many rally's. His solution is to close these down and TREAT at least 50k people, to reflect those who have died, in treatment instead. Strange you guys are not aware, this is a important point in his platform. See Grok - "Pierre Poilievre, leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, has consistently opposed safer supply programs during the 2025 federal election campaign. He argues that these programs, which provide pharmaceutical-grade alternatives to illicit drugs to reduce overdose deaths, perpetuate addiction and contribute to crime and disorder. Poilievre has pledged to defund all safer supply initiatives and redirect federal funding toward addiction treatment and recovery programs" Love your reporting non the less!

Thanks, Adam laid out the details by the time we discuss it all, for my part I had not recognized it being discussed in media or outside the stumping

If only these discussion could make it onto the mainstream news platforms, it might just wake up those diehards that continue to take MSM and government's statistics at face value.

Great reporting as always.

Hi Adam - We must remain aware of this happening to Canada. I hope you stay on top of this issue. I read Crooked Smile and it pointed out this issue. Big paycheques can result in not wanting to 'cure' anyone as it would end their lucrative careers. Follow the Money !!

Great article, thanks for sharing. I noticed that during the most recent LA fires there was talk of Mayor Karen Bass being on "official business" in Ghana and knowingly leaving the main water resevoir empty and in disrepair but, the press and media reports seemed focussed on the homeless situation and unhoused (addicted) people starting most of the fires plaguing LA. I heard Michael Shellenberger, author of San Fran Sicko, speak about the problem.

Rehabilitated users could rejoin the workforce and become net contributors. Their income taxes would contribute to rehabilitating more workers.

Pity our famous economist PM prefers trickle down taxation on laundered blood money.

I liked PPs suggestion that after treatment, recovered addicts should pay it forward by recruiting another addict into treatment, and so on. Trickle Down Recovery makes more sense than TD Economics, especially when Carney is more interested in tax avoidance than putting Canada's tax income to better use.

Ironic how Bonnie Henry failed to act on the safer supply issue yet responded with religious fervour to support forced acceptance of an experimental gene therapy
