LONDON/OTTAWA — A coalition of 68 legislators representing 29 countries has issued an urgent call for international action following testimony from Zhang Yabo, a former police officer working within China’s Xinjiang slave labour system, whose explosive allegations have undermined Beijing’s claims that its campaign against the Uyghur people has concluded.
Carney only cares about Carney and Brookfield! When it comes to human rights issues he only cares about the monetary benefit not the human cost. Canadians need to be aware that if you purchase a Chinese EV you will have blood on your hands. Canada is going down a very deep dark hole and we best wake up from our slumber before it’s too late.
"When asked directly on March 30 whether forced labor exists in China, he told reporters that “there are parts of China that are higher risk” — a formulation Human Rights Watch said ignores extensive documentation of state-imposed forced labor in Uyghur cotton, automotive, solar, and critical minerals supply chains.
The phrasing was notable for what it omitted."
Convenient omission is the Liberal party strategy that started with Trudeau. I hope these world wide lawmakers continue to push this issue (with the help of good investigative journalists) until Carney is better seen as the 'wolf in sheep's clothing' that he is.
As I have said previously this Liberal governemnt is full of creeps and is a farce. Business with China is more important for Carnage than human rights. The problem with Carnage is he is an intelligent cretin where the Turd, was and is a buffoon. This man is extermely dangerous and will sink this country hard and fast. Canada will be up shit river without a paddle.
Due to the excellent and thorough reporting of Sam and others following election interference, you cannot convince me that the CCP and the United Front was not highly successful in Trudeau’s and Carney’s elections. And I believe that the RCMP and Elections Canada looked the other way and did not pursue fraudulent and illegal activities or the tools needed to arrest interfering parties!
The US sanctions on steel and aluminum are there to prevent Canada trans-shipping Chinese slave-produced metals into the US. The same for Canadian autos that incorporate those slave-produced metals. And yet we continue to welcome the slave-produced metals, and now Chinese cars that also incorporate those metals (and imbedded espionage capabilities).
It makes no sense to bait the US into further sanctions by allying with China. Already Mexico is far ahead of Canada in their T-MEC/CUSMA trade talks. Can we be sure we can beg our way into CUSMA again?
No, there is no economic benefit for most Canadians by further integration with China. Especially for dissidents from China, whom the RCMP are now tasked with sending back to their deaths in China.
I believe part of the 'infatuation' is the adoption of China's Social Credit Score system working in conjunction with Carney and Bloomfield's CBDC financial system of enslavement. Which is WHY BILL C9 is so important to the Liberals because it entails massive censorship rules that if applied to the average citizen, will curtail one's access to finances to be able to pay for ANYTHING that's life sustaining. This also ties into the increased efforts by the medical community to promote MAID. Both systems work in sync with one another if you really think about it because the WEF'S UN EU GLOBALIST Agenda 2030 includes a massive reduction of the population. Remember, Carney's affiliated (and a member) with all of the latter organizations. In essence, the perpetrators of all that's occurring do NOT believe in 'human rights' how could they possibly when they're the creators of the demise of humanity.
A lot more to come on this matter next week in Ottawa.
Rushan Abbas, another Optimum author will be in town to launch her book Unbroken, One Uyghur's Fight For Freedom and attend an important Press Conference that Optimum along with the Uyghur Rights Advocacy Project. CPAC Live 10:30 23rd.
Later on Thursday will be a Transnational Repression event with Liberal Judy Scro and Senator Leo Housakos will provide opening remarks for. Sam is leading the way on reporting this most critical issue that speaks to who we are as humans and as Canadians.
If the Prime Minister wishes to soft peddle China's totalitarian nature and forced labour and genocide please know that many human rights organizations and advocates, NGO's, and the most powerful US Committee on China Chaired by John Moolenaar will be fighting to highlight hypocrisy on the issue and assure we are aligned on trade matters to stamp our forced and child labour globally.
" Rushan Abbas is an incredibly strong person, refusing to be silent amid tragedy and transnational repression.... America and allies must confront authoritarianism with the moral leadership and courage this moment demands." U.S. Representative, John Moolenaar, Chairman, House Select Committee on the CCP.
It’s easy to see what is going on here….. “politically”…. that is regarding .. “forced labor in China”.
HOWEVER folks…. FACT IS …. if Canada doesn’t accept 49,000 Chinese EVs…yearly….into the country…… China will not be buying the canola grains from Saskatchewan and… Manitoba.
Is this “trade”…. or outright “black mail”?
NOTE:
More to come,… regarding the “forced labour” in China on an upcoming post. Most important that Canadians are given the facts on the subject.
Unfortunately because the Carney Liberals now have a majority they don't have to care about human rights in China and Chinese government influence in Canada.
This just in! Prime Minister Carney has appointed The Honorable Michael Ma as special rapporteur to end slavery in Canada. In the announcement, Carney praised Ma for "his principled stance against slavery. He brought to light, the centuries of oppression of Canadian minorities and in doing so, has shown leadership and morals. The Liberal Party of Canada, being the natural governing party, is saddened by this revelation, and will do everything in its power to eliminate independent thought." Ma announced that he has hired the Honorable Beverley McLachlin as his legal expert. "Ms. McLachlin brings years of experience serving on the Hong Kong Court and will be a welcome addition to the team."

Canada is heading into some very dark times with china .
Will the united states come and clean up our china problem. I would welcome it.

Why are the Liberals so infatuated with China?

There is something truly rotten going on.

"Mr Cooper, have you ever seen any torture of Uyghers?" Would be the question from carney's mid-wit floor-crossing ccp operative MP.
Unfortunately because the Carney Liberals now have a majority they don't have to care about human rights in China and Chinese government influence in Canada.
I am ashamed of our government.
Will the Carney liberals refute this in order to curry favour with Xi?
Carney will speak of guardrails and ignore the report as will main stream media.
It's up to the Conservatives.
