OTTAWA – I joined Brian Lilley for a wide-ranging conversation that started with the machinery of Beijing’s foreign influence in Canada and Conservative leadership politics, then moved into MP Larry Brock’s departure and Brian’s explosive scoop: Brock disclosed to his party leaders that Mark Carney’s party had dangled a judicial appointment before him amid Carney’s floor-crossing campaign.
Through the past lost decade+, I have maintained some level of respect and even hope for our country and its political system. That's despite the venality, self-interest, and childish squabbling and shouting of our MPs during Parliamentary sessions.
A large part of that hope and respect came from Larry Brock. From the first time I heard Mr Brock in Parliament and in Committee, the thought came immediately to me that: "Here's a man we can trust. Here's someone who knows what's going on and is as disgusted with it as most thinking Canadians are. Here's a smart and honest man who is in control, in his element and who will not be silenced and will be heard."
Smart and honest, the rarest of breeds on Parliament Hill.

Amongst the many things I admired about him was that he never took any crap from the fools across the aisle. He saw who they were, and let them know it. No one from the Liberal side wanted to debate or challenge him. They were afraid of him, and rightfully so.

I have given up on Canada. The foreign interference, Carney, Trudeau, Chretien, liberals have already destroyed Canada. Canada will be canceled by 2030. Western separation is a farce thanks to Smith, Kenney and Poilivere.

Jason Kinney is the biggest cdn loser. I have never seen a politician fold like a cheap suit so obviously like he did during the scamdemic: he went from "We are moving on from this endemic flu" to "We are shutting down the economy & freedoms" in 3 days. Who got to him, who paid him or threatened him but he definitely got THE VISIT.
Why does Brian trust what politicians and political operatives tell him? I listened to this podcast and he seems to believe everyone at face value. Not a great quality to have when discussing Chinese interference.
Brian Lilley is soft peddling what is going on Canada, we are at war with marxist led china. China has almost taken over control of Canada and when they have enough control they will be obvious about it. Lilley is a Liberal media plant to make cdn think that are self governed and not already invaded by marauders.

I absolutely loved watching Mr Brock perform in Parliament.
I hope he can stand his ground. We need the return of integrity.
