OTTAWA — For The Bureau’s 2025 Holiday Special, I sat down once again with Jason James for a long-form, two-hour conversation—our second holiday edition—to answer his questions about the elite networks surrounding Prime Minister Mark Carney and the China connections that have quietly defined his ascent.
Too many dots are lining up to make me convinced that Carney is itching to power trip and call the emergencies act…for no other reason than to pretend that Trump is a threat. And the kicker? Some people will be on board with his paranoia. (Plan)
This is my biggest concern with regard to the “fracture” that Carney himself has created between Canada and The United States.
Carney NEVER wanted a negotiation with our ally. Carney wanted to fear monger with the ultimate agenda to align with China.
I wanted to clarify further and to mention why the emergencies act or war measures act can keep the United States out of Canada.
This is the language that Carney has been using is that Trump is a threat - that Trump wants to “own” Canada- that our relationship “with the United States is over”..???
This language is cementing the fear of those who hate President Trump and NOT fostering a unified alliance which is what a good leader would do.
How can the United States help Canada when we have been taken hostage by a person who is in alignment with an extremely dangerous country? And that’s not fear mongering that is stating the facts.
The CBC propaganda arm of the Carney Liberals has continued the framing that Trump is a “threat”. They are deliberately trying to cause our country to be divided with this anti- Trump rhetoric and it will not end well for us.
Carney will be protected by his rich network including Xi Jinping and we the Canadian people will be discarded once Carney gets what he wants- our country and all of our resources.
Is this what our brave Canadian men and women died for? To have us hate the United States of America and be unified with the CCP?

I’m not a financial expert but most nations do not engage in endless domestic money printing because of the resulting inflation. China however has cadres in most large corporations and can control prices and force companies to forego profits to prevent inflation.
China has printed trillions of debt in the past couple decades. Their capital controls are a facade to control which citizens can leave. Favoured communists can leave and exchange their endless supply of renminbi either through organized crime or Brics or leveraged through bond loans.
What is gatekeeping authoritarian influence when China has unlimited supply of renminbi that can be exchanged for foreign assets like our domestic housing? Cost of living and excessively over-priced housing is irrelevant to communist agents if their supply of renminbi is endless because their renminbi is not free floating/market dictated but party controlled and China inflation is suppressed, while they endlessly pour more renminbi into their local segregate economy.
Money is not an economic exchange tool for a communist, it’s a political control and influence tool. Carney internationalizing the renminbi for China essentially is exporting authoritarian influence to western democracies and driving cost of living to astronomical heights. Any country with a direct flight from China has experienced insane housing that benefits no-one except banks, politicians and communist operators. Someone should do something before Gregor Robertson opens the spigot to endless authoritarian yuan.
IN 2019 Brookfield leased Jared Kusher's building @666 park Ave NYC (which was in trouble with payment to the banks coming due to the tune of $1billion. Brookfield leased it for 99 years for about the same amount AND PAID UP FRONT in 2019 (before Carney got there, but Qatar was also in on it & in on the purchase of Canary Wharf in London with Brookfield 50/50). This should have brought Carney some influence with Trump, but it seems his cosying up to Communists in China & the Fascists in the EU cancels out any of that good will.
You'd think Brookfield would have enough $ laying around so that a loan from the Chinese wouldn't be necessary., These are the 'brilliant' business types who want to grab our pensions & spend them as they see fit but they've shown us they have no ability to predict what should have been predictable.
Carney & the business 'elites' have no issue in dealing with these authoritarian, brutal, misogynist countries who also pollute more than most, yet Carney keeps repeating the DEI stuff & climate stuff to the plebs here in Canada. It's beyond insulting. He doesn't walk the talk. China welded people into their apts during the Covid psy-op & they obeyed until there was fire in a high rise & people burned alive, welded in. The people finally revolted.
The US right wing sees it as these elites grifting us into throwing out our old stuff
(furnaces etc) to buy the new more 'climate friendly' stuff. There seems to be a never ending assault on people to keep them paying & poor. Carney is leading the charge.

It is clear that Carney is transitioning Canada to a centralized command style economy, society and system of political governance not unlike China. This is the culmination of China's influence, and Liberal leaders' admiration of China's current system of state capitalism, which was ironically developed and taught to the Chinese by Pierre Trudeau's friend and fellow communist, the late Maurice Strong. This system in Canada entrenches and favours existing oligarchs like the Demarais, Irvings, McCains, Bronfmans and Thompsons. Interestingly, I believe this is also driving the the nascent independence movement in Alberta and Saskatchewan, given westerners' belief in a market economy, self reliance and the freedom to take advantage of the opportunities that are inherent in and arise from the uncertainty that accompanies free enterprise. The fundamental difference between a centralized command style economy and a market economy should make for some very interesting politics in 2026 leading up to the Alberta referendum on independence, likely to be held in the fall.
