Canada was once a serious and respected country. A little naive to the broader issues in the world (we are after all, a young country). But still respected. We were a clean, safe, well-run country whose citizens happily lived by the rule of law. It mattered not who was in power, Conservative or Liberal. There were laws that applied to the government, as well as its citizens. The government was held accountable.
That all began to vanish when our previous, clownish PM began his unapologetic, black-
faced, DEI/Woke prance around the world stage. Now, the nationally-suicidal policies and practices of this government during the past decade +, in virtually every important arena, have turned us into an international laughingstock. We are becoming a punch line for late night comics. Rightly so.
The current World Cup is bringing this home when we are criticised by visitors from recognised 3rd world countries as being too dirty, violent, and unsafe.
Carny is turning into nothing more than Trudeau 2.0, on steroids. His farcical New! World! Order! is nothing more than a megalomaniac's theft of a book title from HG Wells. His true character and priorities can be easily seen by his recent announcement on bailing out fat cat condo developers wherein Canadian taxpayers get to pay not only for their losses, but their profits as well. This, at a time when foreclosures and homeless encampments are rising and record numbers are using food banks. This is disconnected politics as usual. Plus ca change, plus ca meme chose.
This bailout is an action. His new world order is simply a set of words. With zero practical meaning. Dramatic words, purloined from a long-dead author. Meant to impress the sheep.
If Canada is to survive, this government must be kicked to the curb. Where they can join Keir Starmer.
The Liberal Government must first stop funding the terrorist organizations, allowing them to all come into Canada, and then we can worry about new laws to deal with their aiding and abedding murder. Perhaps if they themselves were held up to the justice system and laws in Canada we would not be dealing with any of these horrifying actions from such horrifying people. Lets start charging the people who are really responsible for this pay for slay, who are sitting right in our Parliament Buildings.
Hell a government that introduced “anti hate” legislation…..prosecuting those that dare to tell the TRUTH …… instead of those that first told the LIE…… is hardly a government that would care a hoot…. about this matter Sam.
The “LIE” told by a few Indigenous authorities …. and published by the Canadian mainstream media ……claiming “215 murdered indigenous children were discovered in a mass grave at the Indigenous residential school in Kamloops. No such “grave” exists to date.
No prosecution for those reporting the LIE or the newspapers that published the LIE.
The “hate” spread fast,…. as over 100 churches have been burnt or damaged …INCLUDING…. indigenous artifacts.
But….god help these who dare tell the “TRUTH” ….because they will find themselves behind bars for ….”promoting hate”…… as the perpetrators of the LIE ………….WALK.
