Like everything else Trudeau touches, the longer this inquiry goes on the more farcical, or worse, it becomes. Given his plummeting support across the country, does Trudeau really believe the majority of Canadians will accept the likely outcome? The truth about the extent of Chinese interference in Canada must be really bad.
Trudeau has come into his own as China’s champion in Canada. I’d say he was the Manchurian Candidate he’s too stupid for that and his father knew it. Rather, he and his siblings couldn’t help but absorb their father’s live and admiration for Mao, Castro etc. and communist authoritarians worldwide. I’m always amazed at how few Canadians know about PET’s communist/authoritarian infatuations.
It is concerning that so far, the only media to report this is the globe and mail. I can't say that I'm surprise, since the quality of journalism in Canada is down drastically.
Problem is, without a media firestorm, nothing will happen.
I was wondering and suspecting that Hogue had ties to the liberals, or else she would have never been chosen. Truly, this government as corrupted the public service to a level only seen in countries like Russia, Hungary, China, Turkey and others.
Hogue should be deeply concerned for her own professional reputation along with the structure of the inquiry giving off a strong odour of sympathetic leanings toward the CCP and the Liberal party. But, maybe like Paul Rouleau and the use of the EA, she'll listen to evidence pointing toward interference and formally rule there was none.
Who didn’t suspect this. I believe they should all walk away. Leave the culprits as the only ones standing. Then you won’t need an inquiry. Thank you Sam Cooper.
