OTTAWA — In a contentious ethics committee, Conservative MP Aaron Gunn moved Tuesday to summon Vancouver condo marketer Bob Rennie, federal Housing Minister Gregor Robertson, and major developers connected to Rennie’s fundraiser for Mark Carney as witnesses in an urgent parliamentary investigation of the Prime Minister’s multibillion-dollar British Columbia condo bailout.
Thanks Sam. This is for once slightly encouraging…so tired of the corruption destroying Canada. Also kudos to Aaron Gunn. He is terrific as always. And to Kwan and Hardy. Keep it up. But also waiting for the Liberals to shut down any further discussion….they always find a way.
And what options do we (taxpayers) have, what defences? A Liberal run ethics committee with zero teeth. One that would, at the very most and for show only, fine Carny and the developers a few thousand dollars? About the price for an appetizer on one of their endless continent-hopping junkets. (Steamed hummingbird tongues, anyone?)
This is far beyond any ethical question.
This should be prosecuted in the courts as a criminal matter. Alongside the myriad other Liberal crimes such as the SDLC slush fund, Arrivescam, the 'Other Randy' Boissonault, JWR and SNC Lavelin, Trudeau just for general stupidity and saddling us with Quebec's ALTO High Speed Rail, the untold billions siphoned off by worthless 3rd party contractors who get to write their own, sole source contract, and on and on and on ...
The Canadian Justice System? Another bad, Liberal joke, including the Supreme Court which has become, like the CBC, simply another arm of the Liberal government.
We are defenceless and they know it. "The Right Honorable"? There is not one of these vermin worthy of that title.

I might be way off base here but this feels like the Canadian oligarchs are collectively funding themselves into more wealth while pretending to do otherwise.
If you have ever watched the Trig podcast with Sir Bill Browder it's no secret how the oligarchs get rich. Just need the right leader (an authoritarian) to head up the program.
The corruption and conflict of interest are plain to see in this one. Not just Brookfield showing up and getting a deal within days or weeks in a place Carney has just visited.
But the big question is...will the RCMP actually DO something? We've seen Trudeau skate by many corruption scandals. Eventually his party turned against him and he stepped down.
But is that likely to happen with the current liberals? I think they realize if Carney goes, their chance of being reelected is slim. And let's not forget state funded media will pillory the Conservatives for exposing the corruption rather than hold the true culprit to account.

How do you turn a condo priced at $660K into affordable housing? It's simple- award the same developers contracts to downvalue the condos- for the masses, you know. No need for marble countertops.
The depth of corruption casually being passed off by Carney, sanctioned and openly supported by elected Liberal MPs is beyond staggering! It’s also unimaginable that this crime ridden mafia style of rule we are living under is quietly being kept highly secretive and unreported by MSM so that majority of Canadians are completely ignorant and in the dark. MSM employees are either reaping corruption $$$ benefits or they’re just plainly GD stupid!! Does anyone realize or understand that Carney is unabashedly using taxpayer millions to bail out his CCP buddies while also benefiting Brookfield????
We desperately need an immediate “President Trump style invasion” to clean house on government participation in cartels, money laundering, drug production, terrorism crime…..and most importantly - immediate removal of Carney!!!!
