It was an incredible line of questioning designed to discredit Ms. Johnson who is personal friend and colleague. Ma carrying water for the PM and China seems to either me naive, stupid or is acting as an agent for the CCP in parliament.

Perhaps it’s time (Not that it would ever happen to the Liberals) to ban foreign nationals from ever running for office

Government offices in Canada.

Well India miraculously rehabilitated their reputation as a threat to the Khalistanis, diaspora and Canadian elections overnight. It seems only fair that Canada on the experienced advice of traitor MA overlook years of communism and forced ,coerced labour in China our new best friend. Next up the drug cartels will be called entrepreneurial drug salesman and everyone can go on pretending that Canada hasn't become the Club Med for crime ,corruption ,drugs ,extortion and foreign interference and we are still a Canada reminiscent of a Leave it to Beaver rerun.

The PBS program FRONTLINE, which produces outstanding documentaries, showed in April of 2020 quite a disconcerting piece titled "China Undercover" which featured the 2 million Uygurs that have been held in encampments, for years, in the location discussed in this interaction between MA and McQuaig-Johnston, other pertinent issues were covered. Unfortunately, this particular documentary has been taken down, having checked the FRONTLINE site. Too bad because it would've offered more insight on this situation in favour of McQuaig-Johnston. MA looks very much like a bully, and it's an unflattering albeit disturbing look for where this country is heading under Carney's reign.

The Liberals seem to attract pro-Beijing supporters and MPs.

Mr. Ma was clearly prepared and coached by a lawyer who knew how to throw hostile spit ball curves by asking Yes and No questions, questions similar to "Did you or did you not....?" Maybe the lawyer got some ideas from watching videos of Senator Joseph McCarthy trying to intimidate witnesses and officials? It would really have been fun and entertaining if Margaret McCuaig-Johnston had asked him, "Mr. Ma, are you or have you ever been an agent of the CCP? Yes, or No!" "No, Never" might have been the reply. "Mr Ma, would you be prepared to submit to a lie detector test? If NO, what are you afraid of? Please answer the question!" But nothing that exciting or earth moving ever comes out of sessions like this.

Thank you for another extremely timely, accurate, and informative piece!

Carney should have left his turn coat commie sidekick in China. He’d find out all about forced labour, organ harvesting, unimaginable torture! Beijing has their own methods of dealing with those they don’t trust - those “disloyal” to the party…..like floor crossers!!

Diane….. May I ask …… do you have any kind of proof of your accusation that “CCP pays westerners to do promotional videos”…… of videos such as the one I witnessed? The successful business I mentioned are all fake?

Yes or no?

Someone on X today mentioned that he’d never seen Ma act like that. Perhaps the CCP has been pressuring him.

Well….. I’ll probably get a lot of hate posts for the following but it MUST be stated.

It WAS a fair question …. a … question ANYONE should be questioned on should they make statements in public. I don’t care for this “floor jumping gymnast” Ma. HOWEVER… having said that it’s important in this day of misinformation, lies and distortions coming from people we are suppose to trust to be challenged.. “A “yes” or “no” answer for me is fine… seeing it’s ok in our courts.

“Forced labour” heaped upon the Uygurs? Why is it never mentioned that MANY Uygurs operate very successful business in Xwjiang in North West China?. Yes…. that is what I’ve been “told”…… HOWEVER, …….in a video a couple of years ago I “saw” those very business with my own eyes, and also listened to a person interviewing the owners in aChinese (with translation)

This,…..to my way of thinking,…..means that not all Uygurs are in forced labour camps.. and perhaps only those that have committed terrorist acts against the Chinese Communist Party government?

Hell…. the USA puts terrorist in prisons…..INCLUDING …. Canada?

There you are folks…. I’d ask you to ponder the foregoing….. however…. Im ready for the hate posts….. but I really don’t care!

The CCP pays Westerners to do promotional videos proclaiming the virtues of the communist regime. I've seen these: they show and interview 'Uyghurs' or 'Tibetans' and showcase how the government honors their cultures and traditions. Happy dancing minorities! Or, Happy Entrepreneurs in the Amazing Chinese Tech Sector. I highly recommend the old ADV China series on YouTube, as well as The China Show.

We are not talking about terrorists in prison. We are talking about an ethnic cleansing and concentration camps. This is not a government that shares any of our foundational assumptions on the individual dignity of man.
