As long as the Carney government holds a majority, no matter how slim, nothing will get done that is of advantage to Canada in general. Part of me feels it is futile to call this committee meeting, however, it is still important. If nothing else it will continue to showcase the complete corruption within the liberal party.

Complete joke Canada has become.

If we as Canadians continue to fall for Carney's fear tactics and his victim narrative there will be no hope and Canada truly will be a joke.

Carney is the worst businessman and the best tyrant.

For clarity, Carney is still running Brookfield.

With a majority the Carney Liberals can do almost anything it wants, including denying Canadians transparency and facts, unfortunately.

There is no doubt Trudeau, under the direction of Carney & SOROS, deployed both the Cloward-Piven Strategy and the Kalergi Plan. Anyone who disputes this without researching and comparing these strategies to everything that continues to transpire to our detriment is either not paying attention or has taken too much kool-aid.

I didn't 'celebrate' Canada Day, but I watched a passionate delivery of our history by Harrison Faulkner at JUNO News. This should've been viewed countrywide, especially regarding his explanation of the Red Ensign. That flag that did define Canada's origins, yet was changed to one that basically says we're a nothing burger 'multicultural' country complete with enormous diversity rendering us now as a meaningless continent of misfits moving towards totalitarian rule under a socialist-communist regime. At least it's the puzzle pieces I've been connecting over the years. Sadly, patriotism means nothing when we have NO REAL LEADERSHIP that supports it. Blessings to our Veterans who fought a good fight, R.I.P.

Different year and province but this has all the same stink (and more) as SNC-Lavalin and no it won't be looked into because it's unethical and anything unethical is always swept under the carpet by the Libs and their handpicked senate.

Shows how useless an ethics commission is if no investigation is forthcoming.

However…. we taxpayers are expect to give….give …..give with ZERO accountability.

However it will be interesting to see how Carnhole slithers of of this? And Eby?

2 peas in the same pod.

And we celebrated Canada Day yesterday? I for one DIDNT

Well, many of us will go down with the ship fighting to the last...for the sake of the women and children's future...🇨🇦

The reality is this potentially identifiable breach of ethics is par for the course since Trudeau’s messes have been in the public sphere. The Liberal party brand has been tainted and the cleansing provided by sunshine is the only cure. Will Carney be the statesman who says the truth might hurt but the government needs to rebuild trust. The public is watching and will not be mollified by smarmy words from MacKinnon, nor the sacrifice of putting Robertson out of cabinet. The untangling of this will need honesty and tenacity, not bullshit and bafflegab. Bring it on.

Why would they even bother with the pretense? At best it will be a white wash.

The RCMP should be paying close attention to this right now...but we know full well, that's not bloody likely.

This meeting will be “In Camera”.

Hear no evil, see no evil, Speak No Evil.

Nothing will change nor happen.

no they won’t. Just like SNC Lavelin.

I doubt that the liberals will allow this to be investigated they will want this to simply fade into the abyss with all the other scandals. I realize that I’m pessimistic but we’ve all seen what they’ve done with previous “in camera” committees.
