Thank you for your reporting on this. The USA must also be aware of the many conflicts our head of state has with China. And didn't President Trump recently ask Nato countries to stop buying Russian oil and to sanction China with tariffs in order to put pressure on to bring Russia to the table in peace talks with Ukraine.

So how is this going to play out with our massive ferry deal with China, as well as Carney's own ties with Chinese companies? Aside from the fact that Brookfield came to Jared Kushner's rescue in leasing a block of building Kushner was having a hard time unloading, and that Trump rewards loyalty, how much more latitude will he give our PM?

Until Trump censors Carney, we will have to see how hard the Conservatives will push him in Parliament. This housing project will factory built houses stinks of graft to Brookfield and the exorbitant budget is very suspicious. How many times have we seen Liberal projects fail miserably and our tax dollars disappear like a magic trick. Looking at you, Catherine McKenna.

He got a 400 million dollar loan from China and now he wants to give them a billion dollar low interest loan. One of the five projects that he wants to see get quick approval for is a copper mine that is owned by Tech which is majority owned by China investment company. China is getting a lot for their 400 million dollar loan.

And this guy is our “Prime Minister”?

The question is…….. is the Pierre’s Conservatives going to expose these, many many conflicts?

If not….. then why in hell not.

I have an awful feel our country had had it with this conflicted charscter!

Only conservatives see the incompetence and corruption at this point. I don't think Carney's support will sink until around Christmas. As they say, give him enough rope and he'll hang himself.

They can try to expose it all they want, but you know that whatever the Conservatives say will receive zero coverage in our media or if it does, it will be twisted to fit the narrative of the day. It's a shame that our media is not waking up to what is happening is other parts of the world with regards to people pushing back against their misinformation.

It was the Cretien gov't that paved the way for deepening ties between Liberal corporate elites and oligarchs with China (ie Power Corp and Brookfield). This has resulted in the complete capture of the Canadian federal gov't apparatus by Liberal elites and China.

The LAURENTIAN ELITISTS strike again! It's just sickening. They ALL bowed to Trudeau Sr. and his embracing of Mao.

When Carney won the election Trump was fine with it saying the liberals in Canada are actually easier to deal with. I’m guessing he knows how conflicted Carney is and will use that now as leverage in negotiations. Not that there appears to be any recently. I know Mexico is playing nice a they have some things coming up that adhere to the NAFTA2 agreement. I didn’t hear that Canada was involved in that but I have no doubt Trump is aware of where all Carney’s bodies are buried and I can’t see that boding well for Canada. That is exactly why you need to elect people who at least try to be ethical.
