AI holds a lot of promise to deal with complex cases. Learn the patterns of criminal enterprises and build cases quickly.

Unfortunately, the notwithstanding clause has been a weakness in the charter giving governments too much leeway.

I think that there is a misunderstanding of what “the not withstanding clause “ was put in the Charter for. It was for the protection of Federal and judicial over reach for the Provinces. It is extremely important today, under an ideological Government in Ottawa and their judicial puppets, to protect Provincial jurisdiction and to stop their over reach. There would have never been buy in for any documents by the Provinces without that clause. It’s a protection, not an over reach!! Why do you think the Federal Government wants to change it? It would give them all say and the Provinces would just have to follow their dictate. Canada is already a mess due to ideological dogma from the federal regime, let alone giving every power to them and their hand picked justices.

I find it laughable that judges stand on procedure & Rights for drug cases & trafficking & money laundering and extortion but when it came to covid cases they took it as their duty to throw out the rules for the greater good on the PM's say so. Canada is not a real country the US needs to put us out of our misery and take it over already, at least they speak English .

This is a big part of why Alberta wants to separate. A complete dismantling is required and Canada as a whole will never accomplish that.

"The Charter remains one of Canada’s greatest achievements. But its interpretation has outpaced the system’s ability to deliver justice in an era of globalized crime. A Charter that protects individuals from the state while leaving the state unable to protect the public is not a failure of rights—it is a failure of governance.

Unless Canada modernizes its justice infrastructure, it will continue to offer transnational criminal organizations something they find irresistible: rights without readiness, protections without capacity, and a justice system that collapses under the weight of its own ideals."

Is it the Charter or the Judiciary that is the problem? Trudeau’s “ No Plane, Train or Bus Travel for the Unvaccinated “ National Policy lasted almost 2 yrs, was and still is being fought in the courts as a Charter Rights violation. Looks pretty obvious to us lay people that the Unvaccinated were victims of Government discrimination. The Charter expresses discrimination quite clearly. The Judiciary(100% vaxxed to keep their jobs)can’t see it….Maybe there are incentives here for the Criminals to keep said Judiciary from seeing the Charter clearly to protecting Victims of Illegal Cartel activities? I gest, of course there are. Or maybe the Criminals have figured out the Judiciary’s Achilles heel; a collective ego the size of Gibraltar. They will never admit they got it wrong.

Excellent exposure Gary

HOWEVER, .. here in B.C. it is NOT “case law” why the crime of money laundering continues unabated. (At least in “certain” cases)

Case in point.

Retired RCMP Supt. Peter German, investigative reporter Diane Francis INCLUDING Judge Cullen … during his B.C. Money Laundering “Inquiry” stated that various lawyers in B.C. are in the lucrative business of money laundering.

It was established that the lawyers are using their trust accounts to “cleanse” the dirty money.

THE AUTHORITIES … being the government, the police INCLUDING the B.C. Prosecution “Service” refuse to prosecute these legal/ beagles!

NOW PREY TELL…GARY … and SAM……... W H Y …. is that so?

Until Canada elects a nationalist leader all this will be a pipe dream.

Unfortunately "nationalist" is dirty word to the elbow-zos crowd.

Perhaps we’ve gone so far down the road of multiculturalism that’s it’s impossible for our political parties to address problems in immigrant communities without appearing to be racist.

This is a needed change for this country. The problem we have today, under a ideological and dangerous leadership, bureaucracy, judicial system, and our rotted from the inside out Institutions, is the danger of opening the charter for the few to make changes for the many. Who would trust those we have with in to make any changes to our Charter of Rights and Freedoms? With this Liberal Regime and the corrosive bureaucrats with in, opening the Charter for change, could be destructive and disastrous. This may work well as a frame work for a new Charter under a new Leadership, such as in Alberta, where it could be formed by those truly interested in law and order and freedom. I certainly would not trust the leadership we have Ottawa today and those who fill the bureaucracy and Institutions to even think of opening the Charter of Rights and freedoms for them to change.

Allow me to continue if I may.

Zhu…. was murdered in a “hit” by a hit man,…who was later convicted for the murder.

He has admitted Zhu was not the intended target in the restaurant full of other

“questionable” …er…”people”.

The intended target was that of Zhu’s “associate”…. “an alleged Chinese gangster” (name with held)

Here is the clincher folks… as reported by Rebel a few years ago.

“WHY DID TRUDEAU MEET WITH AN ALLEGED CHINESE GANGSTER IN B.C.?

The article reads;

“Justin Trudeau reportedly had a private meeting sometime between late 2015 and early 2017 with a man allegedly implicated in money laundering and drug trafficking operations”

Guess who that “alleged” money launderer was? Yup…. yaaah got it! (Name withheld)

That article has a picture,… on one side… Trudeau… and on the other side the “alleged money launderer”

(If I knew how to post the picture I would) .

And here is the interesting part.

This guy was being investigated at the same time as Zhu, being Zhu’’s “associate”..

The B.C. Prosecution..”Service” instead of pressing charges…. secretly and quietly turned the RCMP report over to……… guess who?

A well known “criminal defence lawyer” to ascertain whether Zhu’s partner should be prosecuted

Now guess what the opinion of this lawyer was …..seeing that he has built his career on defending those charged with criminal offences?

Yes… bingo… you got it!

As a result…. this alleged money laundering and drug trafficker has been seen freely walking around in Richmond B.C…… home of Zhu’s illegal ban,..Silver International

Question is….. WHY did Trudeau meet with this individual?

John Walker's avatar

“The largest money laundering case in the history of B.C. did not fall apart because of case law. The case is that of Zhu and his illegal bank Silver International.

Gary, Sam and The Bureau… you are being led down the rabbit hole if you believe such was the issue on this particular incident.

The case DID NOT fall apart months before the case was to be heard…… it fell apart at the door of the court room before it was to be heard by a judge.

That being the case,… the prosecutors involved would NEVER tried to prosecuted … KNOWING FULL WELL… that they would be unsuccessful because of the case laws you mention Gary.

Hey folks…. it was that VERY case that caught my eye when I first read about it in the newspapers.. the day after.. the prosecutors fled the scene at the door of the court room.

ALSO, PremierDavid Eby who was the attorney General at the time….was also surprised.

INTERESTING .. when he did find out the “reason” he DID NOT STATE the “reason”… only that money laundering could no longer be prosecuted in B.C.

Obviously not wanting to admit the prosecutors were shit scared to proceed.

Hey guys… the corrupt mainstream media stated the case was…..”turfed”.. by the prosecutors… instead of stating the real reason,…. in my few fleeing because of threats on their lives if the case was heard by a judge.

There were no less than 2 completely different “reasons” issued later and published in the MSM as towhy the case was to….. like ..er… ah… “turfed”

NEITHER ONE OF THEM MADE ANY SENSE. I challenged the B.S. by letters to the 2 different news outlets on the B.S.

As usual…. no correction.

Very complex cases. Perhaps removing Canada from the monarchy might result in better outcomes

BC = BRING CASH = BIG CORRUPTION! This province has been a socialists communists wet dream for decades upon decades. Look at UBC and UVIC and the recent abuses towards Francis Widdowsen and Dallas Brodie. THEN look at EBY, Mr. Lawyer-Activist-SOCIALIST, and his predecessors, Horgan (not a bad guy, but..) Christy (anything for a photo op) Clark, Gordon Campbell and on and on. Bouncing between NDP, Liberals-former SoCreds = CORRUPT to the core! Then there's Gregor Robertson who let Vancouver's housing market skyrocket, did he and Christy Clark know about the money laundering? HAD TO because the CCP and PRC, who came in through the back door a century ago, who ran the opium dens and prostitution rings in VICTORIA'S Chinatown (and Vancouver's) continued to find new methods of criminal prosperity as the world evolved. Did anyone think that corruption in BC would end? NO, it just readjusted itself to suit timelines and 'progress'. It appears this province is hard pressed to find ANYONE in the political realm who ISN'T dishonest, (care to buy a woodchipper on the taxpayers dime?) or there's a 'twinge' of dishonesty hidden deep, same with sociopathy, that rises to the surface in someone upon being elected? ANYONE can be bought off with bribes or silenced with threats and It's clearly evident that's been going on here politically, in our judiciary and policing services since time immemorial, isn't it?
