Oh I so can’t wait to see how the RCMP and the federal government reacts to the cooperation between U.S and Mexican authorities to arrest a Canadian implicated with cartels and Indo-Canadian trucking companies. This must be the reason why Gary and all the liberal cronies have to go after law abiding gun owners 🤦‍♀️!You just can’t make this s—-up😂😂

James Turner's avatar

100% with you on that. No movie producer would accept a script like this. Unbelievable.

Eric J's avatar

💯 Louise. We all know this will barely garner a peep from our Liberal crooks in Ottawa. Gave up on MSM a long time ago…… pretty darn certain it isn’t getting much play.

Great news, these scumbags need to pay the price of the devastation to society that they have done. Ryan wedding I hope never sees the light of day again.

Bronwyn Doyle's avatar

Coincidence?

Sam this truly is playing out like one heck of an espionage novel.

Let’s run the week backwards. Davos. Carney gets up first to publicly scourge the USA and announce his scandalous deal with the PRC. DJT gives his entertaining speech in Davos on Wednesday and says to our PM “You should watch what you say Mark.” It did not sound like an admonishing it sounded like Trump was going to pull a lynch pin. And then Thursday evening Wedding is finally in custody. This was a card waiting to be played. This will now blow Canada's nefarious behaviour wide open and sky high. This has changed the game now from cards to dominoes. Trump? He ain’t no dummy. Thanks for all your work Mr Cooper! Keep on digging!

Carol Jones's avatar

Totally agree!!!! Thank god literally for Trump. Lots going on behind the scenes. I would recommend reading Susan Kokinda from Promethean Action to get a sense of who actually is benefitting from the drug cartels (hint yes its offshore banks in the Caribbean- hence the CItyofLondon ). Great historical info.

Canada's involvement was mentioned!

"Canada’s police and judicial response failed to counter the threat."

Elbows up!

Ken's avatar

Glad they finally got him. Not exactly a poster boy for Canada.

Scott MacKinnon's avatar

Maybe for a Trudeau vision of Canada he would be…

James Turner's avatar

Wow! Now the interest level has skyrocketed.

" ... cross-border trucking enterprises that were captured by Indo-Canadian mafia networks, and that Canada’s police and judicial response failed to counter ..."

All of this under the less-than-watchful eyes (complicit?) of Mark Carny and David Eby?

Just abso-freaking-lutely WOW!

DJT will soon discover that Canada's judicial response is laser-focused on protecting criminals, forgiving them any and all trespasses, and apologising to them on the behalf of ordinary Canadians for our evil colonising ways. Particularly if those criminals are of the "new Canadian" variety, legally in Canada or not. After all our vetting process is - how shall I put this - non-existent?

Carny is likely in the midst of drafting a response, demanding Wedding's release and/or extradition to Canada. Only question there is will he have the spine to send it?

I simply cannot wait for Trump's response. (Are those Black Hawk helicopters I see crossing the border, just south of Vancouver and Ottawa?) Broad daylight is fine, this is defenceless Canada. No need for night ops.

For Sam Cooper ... thank you for this breath of truly fresh air, and please rush any and all updates to publication.

This will be the first time I've ever triplicated myself in a post, but to Hell with it ... WOW).

So call the language police.

Eric J's avatar

lol James. All good. Keystone policing & with a Judiciary that continues to sink to new lows.

Beth's avatar

That's fabulous news! Hopefully this leads to more arrests and a broken link in the chain. Thanks, Sam, for another great article!

Not one mention of even a single bit of help or assistance from Canadian law enforcement! Perhaps Carney ordered this too….not to restrict a Canadian monster in crime that might upset CCP elites in Vancouver, Toronto????

Carol Jones's avatar

Yes the CCP elites are in on the gains of Weddings network. That alone will shake federal and Quebec Liberals to their core. Think of all the “banquet” pics between Liberal politicians and CCP “association” officials. Scott has done a bang up job laying out the influence peddling between those groups.

Marilyn Hagerman's avatar

The Trudeau/Carney/PMO “gladbangers” must be quite devastated to see their free and easy cocaine supply dry up?? Temporary no doubt! Indeed the influencial group peddling that runs rampant between politicians and crime buddies requires some deeply dark corrupt brilliant minds???

I just watched this:

https://youtu.be/dbx3ounles0?si=xXBDdeBPyCS5NIVw

No question, President Trump hates drugs and is aimed at destroying the cartel/drug world while he can. I have to wonder if this US capture of one our own (full shame on us) will cause Canada to pull up their socks on these same matters here. I could be wrong but I think if we don't the US is going get even more difficult with us. I completely understand why. I wish it weren't the case but when you step inside their shoes you realize why it has to be that way.

Last but certainly not least, Sam, your relentless work on the cartels and drug/border issues are greatly appreciated. No doubt each piece was in some way helpful to the US in this capture, at least, on some level.

John Snow's avatar

Which is why I sure hope someone in Mexico doesn't get to him before he is transferred to the US. He probably has a list of corrupt politicians and border agents he might reveal for a lighter sentence.

Lee-ann Harder's avatar

Hard to know but yes, I hope he has to face a judge and go to jail.

Katarina Glozic's avatar

What a success!!!

FortheLoveofFreedom's avatar

Sam Cooper your diligent work in this matter, among others, actually inform Canadians unlike the mainstream media. Now they will be all over this as if they cracked the case. I have told so many people about Sam Cooper and the Bureau. Thank you for your brilliant work!

With the Liberals and the mainstream media it has gone from "Canada doesn't have a drug problem" to "Ryan Wedding, drug cartel leader, has been caught", laughable. Thank you President Trump and Mexico's President. Carney can keep talking about values even though he doesn't seem to have any that align with many of Canadians.

Gail's avatar

Let’s see how long he lives…..just sayin’

John Walker's avatar

The Sun case.

Second trial?

If they can’t buy a few members of the jury,…. then buy the “defence” lawyers?

If you say that can’t happen…… then……. think again …PLEASE!

It will be extremely interesting how the upcoming trial will play out.

Carol Jones's avatar

Fantastic. Let's hope he squeals and gives up the government officials and the CCP links that have made it easy for Wedding to transport cross border. In my dreams its Eby’s aid and a couple of high level RCMP and CBSA tools. Thank god for the Americans and Kash Patel. Cops in Canada should be thrilled.

Marc Belanger's avatar

And Canada played an important role in the investigation leading to the arrest! But that will not be publicized, will it?!

Sam Cooper's avatar

Did they? Patel didn't mention Canada.

JHOC's avatar

The commissioner of the RCMP was at the press conference in his uniform...and was acknowledged by Crash Fatale...

Lee-ann Harder's avatar

If the RCMP hadn't been so withholding of key intel from the US regarding this scumbag and his cartel, this scumbag likely would have been caught long ago. Why should the US give any credit to Canada?

James Turner's avatar

Considering Canada's current lack of international stature, including that of the RCMP, added to the fact that Wedding was hiding out in Mexico with the Cartels, I doubt very much we were even in the loop on this operation. If the MSM reports otherwise, well, first, strap their statement to a lie detector.

Carol Jones's avatar

Why would we be in on the loop? So the corrupt CBSA, RCMP and politicians could tip off Weddings crew?

David John Peters's avatar

I've been following Sam's substack and The Bureaus postings for quite sometime. The Canadian responses to drug trafficking have not always been as dedicated to addressing fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine as they are now. It took high level meetings to achieve actionable intelligence. As Sam's Cooper has been carefully attuned to. Well done Sam Cooper.

Eric J's avatar

Do tell Marc.

KrazyKanuck's avatar

If Canada played such an important role in the investigation, believe me, it would be ALL over the mainstream media.

James Turner's avatar

Actually, if Canada played ANY part in the operation, no matter how small, the MSM would hail it as the second coming of the RCMP.
