OTTAWA — Immigration fraud has overwhelmed Canada’s international student program, the Auditor General found Monday, with 153,000 students flagged as potentially non-compliant, funding to investigate only 2,000 potential fraud cases per year, and nearly all of 800 individuals who fraudulently entered Canada later approved for permanent status or immigration extensions.
"The report flags that 110 of the 800 fraudulent permit holders filed asylum claims. The Bureau reported that extortion suspects facing deportation in British Columbia were doing the same — filing refugee claims as a deliberate legal strategy to pause removal proceedings for months or years. "
First off this bogus loophole needs to be closed immediately. If they were here in Canada as a student there is no way in hell they should be allowed to apply for asylum especially when the waitlist for the current ~ 250K claimants is what about 3 years. And while on the asylum wait list the Canadian taxpayer funds healthcare, dental care, accommodation, etc.

They voted in the now disgraced Trudeau--THREE TIMES and followed that up by voting in Carney who sat at Trudeau's shoulder assisting him in his deeply damaging policies.
Now polls show that Liberal support for Carney reaches new heights for no measurable results made by him.
So it is fair to say that Liberal voters are facilitating the destruction of Canada on many levels and have no intention of changing course and assisting in electing an alternative government which in all probability would be streets ahead of what we have now.

I find it very hard to believe that our gov't can't track these illegals who have gone into the woodwork. They managed to track people during Covid. There isn't a will to track them IMO.

What good is the Auditor General pointing out the deficiencies in our policy and how it is enforced, if nothing ever gets done about it?
FYI, 900,000 people entered Canada in 2025, MOST through the Temporary Foreign Workers Program AND The International Mobility Program. Citizen's really MUST research this program, it's BRUTAL in that it offers a 'streamlined' system to get people in here without major HASSLES in acquiring work visas AND it provides financial assistance to EMPLOYERS to HIRE immigrants over OUR CITIZENS! There is absolutely NO movement within government to curtail these activities, which are seriously hindering Canadians and Canadian teenagers from accessing suitable employment. THIS is a direct result of the WEF and UN's INTERFERENCE in purposefully trying to destroy this nation through their 'replacement migration' nonsense a.k.a. The Kalergi Plan. Remember, Carney was 'Special Envoy on Climate Action and FINANCE' to the UN in 2019. Without a doubt the UN was Carney's direct route into the PM position and was clearly PLANNED for many years. Carney's NOT working FOR CANADIANS, he's the 'puppet' sent in to clean out Canadians wallets, whilst fashioning himself as Canada's KING and treating us as his 'commoners/peasants and personal ATM'. B.C. has ceased to exist already...
