Smith also quotes Donald Trump criticizing the 1970s opening to China: “The worst thing Nixon did wasn’t Watergate… It was allowing China to take advantage of this country.”

Here's hoping the Liberal Gov't of Canada get this message.

Thank you Sam for the continued excellent and balanced reporting.

It is not a war. It’s an operation.

Crowenation's avatar

Not necessarily but this is an operation. Just like Venezuela and Iran nuclear takeout mission from before. It’s an easy mistake for most because the so called news including Fox misuses the terminology to gaslight people. No declaration of war has been done since the US became involved in the Second World War. Even Korea and Vietnam were termed as “conflicts” not war.

Brian Anderson's avatar

My thought exactly. A war would have the American mainland being attacked, buildings/military installations destroyed and thousands+of civilians killed.

Balanced and excellent reporting.

Hmmmmm…. 3 US F 15s shot down by “Saudi Arabia”….in “friendly fire”… and all 3 pilots ejected and are not casualties? I sure hope it’s ,under investigation”… and I can understand why the US military don’t want to comment on the event.

I have to wonder how ALL 3 pilots were able to eject from these very sophisticated jets… after,…. . one would suppose,……. high explosive charges from “friendly fire” . would have blown the jets to millions of pieces before the pilots could possible eject?

Is this some sort of propaganda…. that normally takes place during any wartime event?

However,….so very happy,…… one way or the other… that these brave servicemen survived.

Any nation that sponsors terrorism… in the name of “ANY” religion ….is a threat to humanity world wide.

FFS— are you a military person who has flown this planes— if not— stop the back seat driving — you and most of us have NO clue.

A month from now it's going to be named "Epic Whimper". As Scott Ritter recently stated, this was the dumbest move America could have made

Not. The West has been under attack for decades from all the Islamic terrorist groups Iran sponsors. You can look that up if you like. There are sleeper cells everywhere. Including Canada. If you think they aren't here, you are not thinking realistically. Then, look up how China is a strategic trade partner of Iran. Why is that, you ask? Because China thinks long term. Plans decades in advance. Russia. Why would Russia support a country like Iran? Should the US just sit around waiting for them to build up their military complex? Which is what they were doing. Wait for them to attack North America, then be on the defence? Let them build up their nuclear arsenal? 47 years the world ignored Iran and what it's leaders were doing to the people and the terrorist group funding. 47 years. 911 happened because NO ONE listened. Muslims want to kill all of us, not just the Jews. I lived right next door to them for 12 years. 3rd generation fake Canadians.

There's an even deeper piece to the puzzle, which is that the Brits have been in overt or covert control of Iran since 1908, when they founded what is now BP. From one perspective, the Brits and associated globalists have been using Iran and Israel to start up brush fires in the ME whenever it suited their agenda. With this move, there is a potential trifecta: remove the Iranian nuclear and terrorist threat, hem in China by further eroding her oil supply, and further degrade the neocolonial/globalist capacity to monkey with US interests.

Carol Jones's avatar

BINGO— All roads lead to London.

Boris Legume's avatar

No the West has not been under attack.

The ME has been the playground of the West for 100 years.

WE are the problem.

And btw, Muslims were not behind 9/11.

It was an inside job for US to have reason to occupy to have hegemony in a region where 66% of the world recoverable oil resides.

Scott Ritter has a shorter memory than a chicken or else he would not say such a ridiculous statement.

Carol Jones's avatar

Scott Ritter? LOL— please the man who makes his money from dissing anything anyone in the Trump administration does. I got over him long long ago. No sources (except in Russia—there he has some real value) just conjecture.

It’s been an interesting year for news thanks to President Donald Trump. I have not been able to put the phone down for one second. What day and month is it?

John Doe's avatar

They're going to run out of interceptor supply unless they kill Iran's facilities and mobile launchers. Or just keep flying stealth missions to whittle down Iran.

Remember if Iran is on the verge of losing, they will do desperate things.

LOL— love all these military people here. How the hell do you know? seriously? or do you just like to blackpill? sad

The link has the math. The link has the sources for the math. If you don't want to read it that's your business. And if you've been watching any sort of news for perhaps the last 24 hours the interceptor inventory has been discussed extensively.

Boots on the ground. Hm. Can you say quagmire?

Carol Jones's avatar

You mean like the quagmire in Venezuela? oh right there were boots on the ground and there wasn't a quagmire— hmmmmm. Blackpillers are ridiculous
