OTTAWA — In this episode of The Bureau Podcast, I chat with Canadian author, historian and former national security analyst Dennis Molinaro to unpack Under Assault: Interference and Espionage in China’s Secret War Against Canada
I can only conclude that Canada is now a Chinese proxy on the USA's northern border. When Huawei hardware was installed throughout gov't, including the Canadian military, it provided a back door into Washington, US military, NORAD, and US Defense contractors. It was the greatest ever security leak. Canada now appears to be a rogue state that can't be trusted.
The gvt is not bringing in laws to go after Racketeering but they are going full steam ahead on Speech laws. Sounds like the CCP has got the cdn gvt under full control just like they do in China. When you have captured all the levers of a democracy this could mean checkmate for cdns.
Thank you for a frank and thoughtful discussion which connects the dots of the elements involved in the obvious devolution of every aspect of Canada’s security and prosperity. Leadership which fails to address the obvious can justifiably be viewed as not having Canada’s best interests at heart, and it’s becoming increasingly more dubious that voting our way out of this mess is a viable option.
As the two agree in the interview- Canada by now might be too far gone under the influence of a foreign nation. Can we regain our sovereignty? The question is one of leadership and hard choices. Of all the Canadian PM's named, I'd say the only one with true political savvy was P. Trudeau, and he was on a mission. The others were all dupes (as is Justin). They were not dumb but they were not focused on the betterment of Canada which is the purpose of their office. That is to say they were not being honest with us the people.
Desmarais and his Power Corp.- they were astute business people not concerned with national security- but neither were any of the PM's. Canada has always been such an amateur when it comes to intelligence and security because of too much liberalism and too little national pride. Our patriotism, such as it is, is only a mimicry of American patriotism, but we don't have the pride of nationhood that they do despite the fact that poor colonial boys spilled blood in Europe twice last century.
In order to correct that we need to get rid of multiculturalism started by Trudeau Sr. and replace it with mono-culturalism for a multi-ethnic state.
Time for a one year obligatory national service and eliminate hyphenated Canadians and citizenships of convenience. Unity not diversity will become our strength.
I remember when Trudeau visited China due to his great interest in Communism as well as his great admiration for Fidel Castro. How Trudeau Sr. and his offspring have always been completely infatuated by Communism, as has the entire Laurentian elites, who now attempt to dicate over the entire country. The Trudeau's love for Communism has been known for a long time and yet it appears to have failed to register with the majority of Canadian's in the East and in BC. Chretien was the very man who took out the Port Police and did so, most likely,to aid China. BC is completely infiltrated through out the lower mainline and the island and it shows in every election, be it Municipal, Provincial, or Federal. Just as it has in French Canada through the influence of the Communist inspired Laurentian elites. From the Great Leap Forward and Revolution, our Liberal Leadership are following their very path and Canadian's are so propogandized and gaslit, that they can not see them for what they are, nor can they see what the Liberal's end game is. For those who have been watching and are knowledgable to the influence by China, thank you Sam, one can almost read the Progressive Liberal's like a book. Canadian's have been hoodwinked by the Communist aiding Corporate Media.
How distopian, China controls Canada and Russia controls the USA. Greed and stupidity go hand in glove. Stupidity could be genetic. One of Justin's first blatherings was about how much he admired China's approach to politics.
I found the book at our local book store but it was not at the front under New Non Fictions like it should be. ( That is where you will find Carney's Values - UGH )
Nice to hear someone say the the truth: PET was far from the saint he's regarded as by the bulk of Canada's population. Quite the opposite: a very bad man, narcissistic to the core in his personal affairs, and without a doubt, an admirer of despotic regimes throughout his life. Quite possibly a willing accomplice to the various Communist regimes' (China's in particular) plans to subvert the West.
So while I think there must be a full inquiry into the Winnipeg Lab, I don't think there was a dangerous lab leak, rather a re-branding of influenza and deadly "counter measures" in hospital that resulted in the sudden peaks in some countries post pandemic announcement.

If we had racketeering laws, some politicians or senators might be caught up in them. That's not going to happen any time soon I'm afraid.
Stating the obvious. It is always about power and holding on to it.

i don't think Fidel was a dummy... but Margaret? 🤔
Quebec liberal politicians and their benefactors selling out Canada . Nothing new under the Northern sun.

Excellent episode thank you. God help Canada.
great interview as always, this should be on national tv!
One thing though about Covid. If you haven't yet you really should take a look at the work of Dr. Denis Rancourt. He has analyzed data world wide and can prove that the excess mortality was not attributable to spreading respiratory illness. https://open.substack.com/pub/denisrancourt/p/excess-mortality-what-really-caused?utm_campaign=post-expanded-share&utm_medium=post%20viewer
