Any time I try to introduce this serious topic to people around me, they have no interest at all. They simply don’t respond. Instead, it’s all about Trump and every little thing he does. Trunp this Trump that. While Canada is at the edge of the cliff.

Same thing happens to me. I think that the Trump Derangement Syndrome has successfully killed people's ability to think. I find this very disturbing! People have no idea about what is happening to Canada.

Thank you Gary for your candour, insights and warning. Thank you for your service as well!

This is a very uncomfortable and something citizens like myself need to sit with and then demand that our government create the conditions for conviction and dismantling - legislation and enforcement capacity commensurate with the scale of the problem. Your book is on order.

And many thanks to Sam for your tireless work and giving this subject area a platform and a voice. I stumbled over the Bureau about a year ago and, as a Canadian, it’s been one of the most important and disturbing (that’s a compliment!) finds, for me, on Substack.

How do we demand that this problem be addressed? Write our MP who never responds? Actually get out on the street? Join a political party and bring it to their attention?

In my experience, it takes getting off the couch and keyboard and engaging at the local level - riding associations, candidate selection, etc. volunteering in relevant groups and associations to generate influence. Working across ridings and regions with other like minded groups. If you’ve got the scope and reach, national level engagement is also needed. And vote. Every single election. That would be a great start for a very large number of Canadians.

Our eyes glaze over and roll back into our heads because we can't reconcile who we think we are with who we really are. Canadians are generally smug about how good we believe that we are. We have grown to believe that we are immune to subterfuge because, left or right leaning, we are friendly, polite, and helpful. We think that we are better, smarter and stronger than our forebearers. The reality that we are little more than Bob and Doug McKenzie dressed in better attire and drinking wine, while we whine. We talk but don't listen. We refuse to accept any notion that contradicts our closely held beliefs. Our divisions grow daily. We spend so much time slashing our democracies that we take little notice, not that the gate has been left open, but that we don't actually have a gate. We sit befuddled that the corrupt US government is no longer our benefactor. Maybe it's time to break out the smelling salts. Mr. Clement, your book is a welcome step toward an awakening.

The “ corrupt US government “? You shouldn’t speak that way, since your freeloading country refuses to live up to its commitments to mutual defense partners ( ie USA ). Btw, it was the “ corrupt “ US who took down TD’s money laundering operation. You really owe an apology to all Americans.

Engage with a bit of critical thinking here, David. I singled out the US Government. It killed your Constitution. The Rule of Law has been crushed. I owe no apology to all Americans. I assume that you protect all of them and speak for all of them. Wow! You feel safe because you're marching behind the steamroller, but you haven't thought about what happens at the end of the road, have you? Well, it takes its second pass by going in reverse. Only the uber rich will be lifted out of its path. That's how the world works.

The US government deserves your respect, as the Constitution provides for a chance to change the executive 4 years, and, in 2024, the nation vomited out the Democrats, who massively violated the Bill of Rights, while stealing the taxpayer blind.

Canada will never recover until it has an elected Senate similar to the US, and an inviolate constitution. But, after watching Canada tolerate the Trudeau decade, it’s hard to believe a majority of Canadians will ever part with the comfortable delusions they use to cope with Canada’s deplorable state.

Mafia "benevolence" is a complex and often deceptive concept, appearing as community aid (like food distribution during crises) or a protective shield against other crime, but it's fundamentally tied to extortion, control, and leveraging favors, not genuine altruism, often masking deeper exploitation and building power through a twisted sense of honor and obligation within their controlled territories, as seen in historical Sicilian roots and modern anti-mafia movements. Corruption comes in many forms. As for Canada, I was pretty harsh in my assessment, don't you think?

It appears that those who follow independent news and Substack are far more informed than the general public thanks to Sam and those who follow him. This is due to the complacency and complicity of the Corporate Media with the many, now compromised Institution's, Politician's, and Corporate entities, that continue to increase their wealth and engagment with the very above mentioned entity. The fact Carney, who is deeply compromised due to his Brookfield fiancial loans from China, is attempting to engage further with the leadership of this communist nation, is for personal gain far more than it is to benefit Canada. If it was about the benefit to Canada and Canadian's, he would be working hard towards getting a trade deal with the United States instead of openly angering them.

The Liberal Party (Laurentian Elites) are deeply compromised and have been for an extremely long time. Their allegence lies with the Chinese Communist Party, as do the majority of our sad Institutions. It is for this reason that Western Canadian's, outside of metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island, must extacate themselves entirely from this country in order to save themselves. I truly believe that the rest of the country is completely on board with becoming far more socialist and/or a Communist country.

There have been lots of likes but few comments. What more can readers say? The faith, trust and respect we held for each other as Canadians has been compromised by the influx of these foreign entities that see these qualities as easy prey. I believe most who see themselves as Canadians still hold those values to heart but as you write here we have to change. The trillions of $’s involved can only lead to vast instances of corruption and with little chance of being caught and punished it will only get worse.

To be fair to the readership of the Bureau and our fellow Canadians it's 8am on a Saturday morning mid winter. Still dark in some places. 😉 I think by the end of the day many more people will comment but let's not forget how many people are truly afraid. I know and you know we shouldn't be afraid to speak up and out but many people are truly afraid to be caught saying something that they think can land them in them trouble. Let's be clear those are threats that loom large ever since the days of the banks accounts being frozen. People also see what has and is happening to people in England when people speak up. This is not about making excuses for anyone it's about pointing to the fact that people like you, me and others have to do more. That is just a suggestion. I am sending out the last 3 articles/videos from the Bureau to over 60 people today. Some will read, watch, some won't.

This one liner was written into Cullen’s Money Laundering

“The Commission may not enquire into any matter respecting to the exercise of Prosecutorial Discretion”

Do any f you know what this processional discretion is all about?

It allows the prosecutors within the B.C. Prosecution “Service……. NOT …. to do their job and prosecute money launderers.

CONFIRMED by Premier David Eby when he was the Attorney General of B.C.

AFTER the collapse of a certain money laundering case .. he was quoted as saying “money laundering could no longer be prosecuted in B.C.

DO any of you know what the case was… and WHY Eby admitted the foregoing?

Stay tuned

My husband is a fraud lawyer and knows several (now retired) high up regional directors who tried (maybe) to deal with the BC money laundering nightmare. Eby was not leader then and gave lots of virtue signalling speeches about how to deal with it. Suffice to say— they are all involved. Not just a federal debacle.

The Five Eyes intelligence sharing agencies (Australia, New Zealand, Canada, US & UK) apparently support the Monroe Doctrine.

If the U.S. is serious about enforcing the Monroe Doctrine, why has the U.S. not seized daily Afromax tankers leaving the Port of Vancouver bound for transhipment to China, particularly in view of numerous and exceptionally large Fentanyl Labs recently uncovered operating in British Columbia and Canada?

The U.S. Coast Guard could quickly establish an Afromax tanker interdiction base at Point Robert and board and confiscate Afromax tankers bound for China and take the Afromax tankers to Cherry Point in Washington State. They could also relocate their Customs office from Friday Harbour to Point Roberts and quickly process the deportation of Afromax crews.

Why is the U.S. allowing an American company to invest in a pipeline that has been supported by the Canadian Prime Minister and the Alberta Premier in the Smith/Carney Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)?

Is Donald Trump avoiding this glaring lapse in the Monroe Doctrine because the northern pipeline principal company shareholder in the Smith/Carney Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is also mentioned in the Epstein files?

Canadian Censorship

The CBC Rosemary Barton 'At Issue' political commentator never asks these questions, and the regular 'At Issue' panel resembles the three monkeys "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" .

Why doesn't the Canadian mainstream media (CBC, CTV & Global) ask these questions?

All the Canadian media has to do is push the door open and the whole rotten structure will collapse.

Canada has been infiltrated by "communist" ideology by the full take- over of our political parties, namely the Liberal party of Canada (hindsight tells me it happened completly in 2014). Communists maintain control by holding power in the hands of a few, we can see that when the PM can stop investigations and stop prosecutions and secure the needed outcomes (SNC lavalin comes to mind, rouleau commission, hogue commission...) communism is slow & steady or revolution, but then revolution is obvious and the world is watching. Cdns are groomed to go along to be nice and someone else will fix what's wrong....tomorrow. Until we get our education system back Canada is doomed. Until we take back power from Ottawa Canada is doomed. The good thing to trump's threats of taking canada is that I could move south to better weather and just visit friends & relatives just before their MAiD session.

Thank you Gary…. thank you Sam and thank to The Bureau for this exposure.

Let me tell you gentlemen …. I for one have been doing my damnedt to expose the ROT on money laundering taking place here in B.C. ……. with ABSOLUTELY……..ZERO …. help from the mainstream media as to ROT I have uncovered.

ROT? …….. Gary….. you mention the B.S. $14 million Cullen Money Laundering Commission?

Say Gary, Sam and readers of The Bureau…. stay tuned on this Bureau report and I’ll fill you in on future posts.

First off……. the Cullen “Inquiry” was engineered by the B.C. …NDP … to go. “NOWHERE”. Plain and simple because of a single one liner written into Cullen’s mandate.

Stay tuned on that issue.

I might add…… be sure the federal authorities have done “dick” when it comes to corruption and Chinese interference…..but will be quick to respond once bill C9 becomes law … throwing people in chains and into the cells. Maybe then Canadians will get off their ass and demand answers. For me…. after YEARS ….. of trying to expose ROT … I have my bags packed and ready for handcuffs.

I, along with majority of “bonafide” Canadians believe without question that Gary Clement’s comment, “Canada’s political structures and law-enforcement frameworks remain ill-suited to confront adversaries who are well-funded, strategically patient, and unburdened by democratic hesitation” is politically intentional! Otherwise it would have been addressed years ago! Carney’s mad scramble to get his dictatorship legislation in place to restrict free speech and thought, religious freedoms etc. has certainly been implemented ASAP!!

This totalitarian socialist Marxist ideology began with old man Trudeau many years ago, spurred on by others such as Cretian. I well remember my Dad years ago saying Pierre Trudeau will ruin this country if he’s allowed to remain PM!

The IT world of today makes it possible for all of us to be well informed and aware of national and international events - of the depth of corruption that is embedded in Ottawa! Sam Cooper has opened eyes and ears to depth of the staggering depths of Liberal induced corruption. The Trudeau/Carney dynasty desperately want Canada to become the divisive communist stronghold to tear down America. Carney is deeply embroiled in debt to Beijing, is spending a week cozying up to senior communist leaders in China, is travelling the world sucking up to failing countries such as the EU, UK, is trying to intervene against the West’s need to work with Greenland - all in a planned attempt to undermine US leadership and help collapse the democratic West! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER REASON FOR THE ACTIONS WE SEE COMING OUT OF OTTAWA!!

Many Canadians know exactly what Carney represents - but many stupidly still rely on MSM, and so do not! Surely to God, there must be some way to stop this butchering of Canada!!
